Adopt a Labrador Retriever / Mixed

Prince Henry is one of those rescue dogs who has a story that we hear way to often in Tennessee.  It’s one of those phone calls that many rescues get that just gets sadder because you hear that an older dog that is a stray has been hit by a car and the injury is old and very painful.  Knowing that he has been in such pain with nothing to help him is unspeakable to imagine in our hearts.  Not only did he have to have his leg amputated but we found out he was heartworm positive as well and that treatment is painful in order to elongate his life and rid him of those dreadful creatures.  He has been treated. This unfair painful health strikes against this sweet boy have all been hurdled and treated.   He has the most precious soul and when you look in his eyes all you want to do is make everything better for him and hug and hug and hug him.  He is a gentle dog that loves to snuggle with you or lay in his dog bed at the foot of your bed.  He is so low maintenance.  He walks perfectly fine with the three legs and will go for short walks and only needs 3 times daily to go out for a bathroom break.  He is as we said….LOW MAINTENANCE.  He loves to wear his special winter coat that has been provided for him by his foster home.   His sweet grizzled face shows the years but his soft heart has not been hardened by them….only gently softened and ready for a blessing of a new home and good things as he mellows in his golden years.  He doesn’t need a crate as he can be trusted in the house.  He needs to be an only dog in a clam household. He is a great car rider, good on a leash, loves meeting new people and is an ambassador for the best of a Bully breed mix boy.  He is 8-9  years old and weighs 55 pounds of solid love and affection.  Does someone want to give Harry the best of golden years of his life that is left!!!?
